What’s up with our newest “allies”?

These blood elves are a very strange race.  The dark lady has voiced objections to finalizing their acceptance into the Horde, and I am starting to see why.  For one thing, their addiction to magic gives each of them an insatiable hunger for more.  Utterly self-centered, no well of power or wealth seems to be deep enough for them.  The women are aware of their natural beauty and I admire the skill in which they use that as a weapon against both their friends and their enemies alike.  It’s so amusing to see how the living let themselves be manipulated, often to their own deaths.  Never ever trust one, they are deadly as they are beautiful but are fierce allies to have fighting by your side.  Just don’t step in front of them when they are about to pop off a firebolt.  They won’t stop just because you happen to be in the way.  The only living beings which seem to not be affected by their charms are the blood elf males.  So obsessed with their own looks there is barely a thought for the world around them.  They prance and they pout but woe to the enemy that makes one of these men chip a nail.  That’s when the really unleash their power.
